All of you that are reading Towers and Lines may have very different thoughts and understandings about this subject. I am sure that some of you just might have what I am looking for and would be prepared to share that with the journal for mutual interest. I would like to search out old photographs of overhead transmission lines or works to them. New or old, it does not matter. Any stories, experiences or artifacts and even accounts of how you may have made your contribution in the world of the overhead Transmission Line Industry. Please contact the Editor at editor@towersandlines.co.uk and we will be able to process what can be published and what would be regarded as archive material. One of the objectives of Towers and Lines is to build up a knowledge bank and heritage collection on the subject of Towers and Lines. In a few short years it will be the 100th Anniversary of the Nations Electricity Grid that got underway in 1927. It would be nice to commemorate this event, and you can help, thanks so much.
